Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), a billionaire industrialist, weapons manufacturer, genius inventor and consummate playboy, has reached war-torn Afghanistan to demonstrate his companys new Jericho missile.Things go down the spiral as he is captured by a group of terrorists. With the help of a fellow inmate, Stark must figure out an escape, which leads him to design a unique weaponised suit of armour to fight evil — giving rise to Marvels new superhero: Iron Man.
